About me
As a little girl, Marie always knew she wanted to be a teacher which made beginning her career in IUSD a dream come true. Having taught everything from second grade to twelfth grade in her lengthy career, she has a love for every age group and a broad lens for a wide perspective on education. Currently serving as a TOSA, Marie is thrilled to be able to help support teachers, administrators and students in a variety of ways. Her passion is to build hope and efficacy in staff, students, and families. She is a foodie, loves dogs, working out, traveling, and being a mom and wife. She is the proud mom of two IUSD-educated sons. Marie's professional credits include SEL Educator of the Year, PBIS Certified Trainer and Evaluator, a National School Reform Faculty member, and school site Teacher of the Year.
